(DTTG) - Abstract: Festivals in general, especially traditional festivals originate from the religious needs of the people and often take place as an opportunity for people to express their devotion to their chosen faith. Beliefs and festivals are closely intertwined. Folk beliefs play a crucial role in Vietnam’s traditional festivals, reflecting cultural identity, spirituality, and reverence for supernatural forces, ancestors and deities. The ups and downs of festivals and folk beliefs over the past few decades have demonstrated their enduring vitality and relevance in the community’s memory, proving difficult to erase. Preserving cultural identity in the goal of poverty reduction for ethnic minorities: Theory and practice in the Central Highlands

(DTTG) - Abstract: Preserving the cultural identity of indigenous ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands region in the context of poverty reduction is both an urgent and a long-term strategic issue. This article analyzes the relationship between cultural identity preservation and poverty reduction in the local ethnic minority communities of the Central Highlands. Based on the theory of sustainable development and the role of culture as an endogenous resource, this article shows that integrating cultural elements into poverty reduction programs not only helps improve economic efficiency but also strengthens self-reliance, identity and community cohesion. Based on a research of several local models, this article proposes policy solutions to promote an integrated approach between culture and development, centered on the community, aiming for sustainable development in the ethnic minority areas of the Central Highlands.
