Abstract: The Cao Dai religion emerged in Southern Vietnam in the early 20th century and subsequently grew and expanded to become a major religion in the region prior to 1975. Emerging and developing amidst the social conditions of aggression and domination by French colonialists and American imperialists, the Cao Dai faith, alongside the people of Southern Vietnam and the entire nation contributed to the success of the August Revolution and the victorious resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism. The article focuses on clarifying the contributions of the Cao Dai religion to the revolution during the period of 1945-1975.
